Eco Diet Get Clean Go Green
"The word "eco" means, environment or ecology; the word "diet" means, daily fare or a prescribed way of living. Thus, an EcoDiet suggests an environmentally friendly way of eating—a daily fare that supports the ecology of our bodies."— Toni Toney
The EcoDiet is the result of Toni’s 25 years working as a Body Ecologist and Whole Foods Chef for those looking for a more holistic way of living, and with those who suffered from major illnesses that none of their doctors were able to cure or even help. After years of research, Toni realized that in much the same way the burning of fossil fuel was destroying our planet’s environment, the Standard American Diet (SAD) was destroying her health and the health and wellbeing of her clients, family and friends.
She discovered that the burning of acid fuel is the real culprit for both our inner and outer planet! For us, it creates a type of internal acid rain.
"Let your food be your medicine
and medicine be your food."— Hippocrates, the father of medicine
To restore balance... Hippocrates trusted in nature to heal the body and the body to heal the mind. His prescribed medicines were whole foods, rest, enhanced elimination, cleanliness, fresh air and sunlight. Toni Toney’s EcoDiet harnesses these same, powerful principles.
"There is no such thing as natural death. All deaths from so-called natural causes are merely the endpoint of progressive acid saturation."— Dr. George W. Crile, co-founder of The Cleveland Clinic.
There is almost a 100% certainty that anyone living in the Western World is likely to be over-acidic. It has been shown that you are most likely acidic if you consume mostly a typical, Standard American Diet (SAD) of acid-forming foods: meats, cheeses, pasta, refined sugar, fast foods, starches, artificial sweeteners; drink alcohol, coffee, tap water, tea, or sodas; take any prescription drugs, most of the over-the-counter drugs, and many well-known vitamin supplements; or are under stress.
The result is, our pH becomes overly acidic, our oxygen levels lower and we become a fertile breeding ground for yeast, bacteria, viruses, parasites, and every manner of pathogenic microorganisms. In other words, disease stems from an “ecological breakdown” created by an internal acid rain.
Go ahead and see for yourself! Take the acid rain test! View your urine as your body’s rainwater. It’s a great reflection of the pH of your internal environment. The test is simple, too. Eat a diet high in acid-forming foods for one entire day; that means, you would eat every thing other than fruits and vegetables. The next morning, gather your first urine spill, take a pH test strip and test your urine. Your reading should reflect a pH of approximately 5.5; the pH of acid rain. Thus, if this is the type of diet you’re presently eating, you may want to reconsider!
In order to prevent or reverse an ecological breakdown, simply set aside a day and take the acid-alkaline urine pH challenge. Soon, you’ll, too, be convinced that burning the right types of food for fuel into your internal environment is the master key to health.
"Man did not weave the web of life…he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself."— Chief Seattle
The four elemental forces of air, fire, earth, and water are not only the very elements your body is made of, they are the dynamics that control the entire physical universe. Therefore, to achieve perfect health, you must align yourself with these principles and fuel your body with the air you breathe, the sunlight you absorb, the plants you eat, and the water you drink.
These powerful four do not ascend within the structure of a man-made four food group pyramid, as each are the “pillars” of your house and work together in a synergistic field of movement and are of equal importance. They are the four “pillars” of the Get Clean Go Green EcoDiet. Follow their basic principles of creation and, in turn, you''ll create a state of health and wellbeing, not just for yourself but for the planet at large, that far surpasses the scope of most our imaginations.
Following The Four “Fuel” Groups is simple and easy. Better yet, it''s a great way to build that strong foundation toward becoming the healthy, happier you that you were designed to be. Just know that when you start aligning yourself with the four elemental forces of nature—air, fire, earth, and water— the process is steady but sure. And all you have to do to begin the journey to that healthier, happier, more balanced ecological you is to start by taking one alkalizing bite at a time!
Remember that no matter what SOS symptoms you may be experiencing or whatever disease name you may have been tagged with, if you work with these four powerful forces of nature and not against them, you can turn your environmental crisis around.
